Documentary family photography is photojournalism of your family. These images are not about the perfect poses or perfect smiles or perfect hair or coordinated outfits. These photos are stories from real life, your day-to-day existence. It feels weird (I've done one, too) but I can honestly say that there is nothing more moving than seeing your life, it's quiet moments, and the beauty of your world, through someone else's eyes.
