Portraits & Pours - July 1, 2021 from 4-6PM

Headshot mini-sessions, wine tasting, & networking!

We are excited to be offering a fun networking event with wine, snacks, and headshots! We’ll be at Kent Place Residences at approximately Hampden & University. You will have the opportunity to enjoy a wine tasting, light appetizers, fun networking, and a headshot mini-session. These will be quick headshots with a few poses outdoors (if bad weather, we will setup indoors).

Wine Tasting with Nina Anderson of Wine Shop at Home

Nina Anderson with WineShop at Home will be sharing a few of her boutique wines from the award-winning Napa Valley winery she represents. You’ll pick up a few tips on how to select the right wines for you and pair them with your favorite foods. A great opportunity to try before your buy.

You do not have to get a headshot to participate, come join us to taste the wine and network! There is no fee to participate if you are not getting a headshot. Please RSVP if you plan to attend.

Headshot Session fee $150 and INCLUDES:

  • Online gallery with 5-8 poses from which to choose

  • Select one pose for retouch and download

  • Additional files available for purchase

The headshot mini-sessions are for folks who just need a quick, simple headshot. No wardrobe changes.

Headshots will be taken first-come/first-served. You do not need to stay the entire two hours.

Preparing for your headshots

  • Dress for the message you want to send your clients. Are you the suit and tie person or the casual look?

  • Avoid all white or day-glow shirts, shirts with words or visible logos.

  • Solid darker colors are slimming.

  • Wear more makeup than usual, lipstick and mascara for sure.

  • Wear lip balm if you aren’t into lipstick. That goes for everyone.

  • If you shave, shave several hours before your photos - you don’t want red skin.

  • Layers are great for a more dynamic photo. Don’t forget accessories.

  • If you wear prescription eyewear, please make sure to wear glasses that are glare resistant and not transitions lenses. While we do our best to avoid eyeglass glare, if having your eyeglasses in your photos is important to you, please understand that depending on the type of glasses, the coatings applied, the shape and thickness of the glass, there is a risk of eyeglass glare.

  • Wear some color and show some personality.

  • Bring a hairbrush or comb just in case.
